Gault Millau:
"What a photo! An
18th Century Priory in its own exotically planted
park. It is at all and the same time romantic,
nostalgic and very Norman, like
a Maurice Leblanc novel. The horse drawn carriages
do not stop here any more, but their presence
can still be seen and heard and our visitors are
absolutely charmed. All this and only five
minutes from the Côte de Nacre Coast.
The Chef has made his love of the land the basis
for a successful business proving to his fellow-chefs
that it is possible to cook Normandy style
without it being too rich or heavy.

Champerard:
"When you enter this
18th Century Priory all flights of fancy are possible.
Suddenly, the wooden beams, the imposing chimney,
the time aged furniture (...) belong a little
to you. This is the region where you can
drift back in time to when the clock seems to
have stopped at the first wave of the D-Day Landings.
Martine and Pascal Guillemin's skill is share
the enchantment that they live and feel
each day of their superb surroundings
